Everyone has a role to play in determining Santa Maria’s future – including you! Surveys are an opportunity to share your thoughts about the future of Santa Maria, issues in Santa Maria, and what makes Santa Maria special. Your thoughts will help the City create a shared vision for the General Plan Update.

Land Use Alternatives Survey

The Land Use Alternatives Survey was available on this website from April 5, 2023 until May 2, 2023. Results are found in Appendix D of the Preferred Land Use Memorandum.

 

Listening + Visioning Survey Results

The City launched two online surveys for the General Plan Update during the Listening + Visioning Phase of the project. These surveys were open from July through September 2020. They will be used as a basis to shape the Vision and Guiding Principles and overall direction of the General Plan. The Community Visioning Survey, open from November to December 2020, will also shape the Vision + Guiding Principles and overall General Plan direction.
