Community Visioning Workshop
The City of Santa Maria hosted two Community Visioning Workshops. The Workshops were an opportunity for community members to share their thoughts about the future of Santa Maria, issues in Santa Maria, and what makes Santa Maria special. There was a workshop in English with Spanish translation available on November 11, 2020 and a Spanish-only workshop on December 3, 2020. Both workshops covered the same material and were held virtually over Zoom.
The workshops began with presentations covering what General Plans do, work to date and next steps in the Santa Maria General Plan Update, community engagement results to date, and how to get involved. Feel free to download PDFs of the presentations and watch video recordings of the presentations in English and Spanish, below.
